Work groups appointed by the Board

The Board of the Church Pension Fund has appointed two work groups to advise the Board on relevant key issues.

Pension Scheme Funding Work Group

The task of the work group is to monitor the sufficiency of the Church Pension Fund and to prepare, for the Board, an annual proposal concerning the rate of the employer’s pension contributions that will be collected during the next year and the rate of the pension fund contributions collected from the parishes. The members of the work group include Juha Tuohimäki (chair), Pasi Strömberg, Ira van der Pals, Risto Hämäläinen, Ismo Heinström, Roman Goebel and Eveliina Nyandoto. 

Responsible Investment Work Group

The task of the work group is to support the development of the Church Pension Fund’s responsible investment activities. The members of the work group include Juha Tuohimäki (chair), Pasi Strömberg, Ira van der Pals, Ilkka Sipiläinen, Markus Lindqvist, Jukka-Pekka Kärkkäinen, Kaisa Ojainmaa, Sami Tuhkanen, Joonas Huttunen, Magdalena Lönnroth and Tuija Helenelund.
