The Church Pension Fund as an organisation

The Church Pension Fund is an independent legal person governed by public law, the operations of which are regulated by the Act on the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland Pension Fund.

The National Church Council serves as the supervising authority of the Fund. The activities of the Fund are led by the Board of the Church Pension Fund and the Director of the Fund as appointed by the National Church Council. In addition, Pension Scheme Funding Work Group and Responsible Investment Work Group are working under the Board of the Church Pension Fund. The practical investment activities are the responsibility of the Fund’s Investment Unit.

The Investment Unit consists of the Chief Investment Officer, Head of Responsible Investment, Equity Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and the Real Estate Investment Manager.

The Church Pension Fund is registered in the Business Information System under the business ID 2721508-7.
