The Church Pension Fund (KER) strengthens its investment organization with two new appointments. Anna-Stina Wiklund has been nominated as head of sustainable investment and portfolio manager. Juhana Hannuksela has been nominated to equity portfolio manager.Anna-Stina Wiklund has a master’s degree in economics from Hanken School of Economics with a major in finance. She has a broad experience of working within the investment management industry in both Finland and Sweden. During her career she has been focusing on external fund selection and sustainable investments. She comes from a role as sustainability manager at Ålandsbanken Fund Management, where the focus was on integrating sustainability questions into different asset classes as well as on implementing EU Sustainable Finance regulation requirements into Ålandsbanken branded products.Juhana Hannuksela has a master’s degree in economics from University of Eastern Finland with a major in finance and accounting. He has broad knowledge in portfolio management, various investment strategies as well as capital markets in broad general. He comes from Bank of Finland, where he held a position as portfolio manager with focus on direct fixed income- and equity fund investments within the foreign reserves.KER is responsible for financing the pensions paid to Church personnel and for the investment of pension funds. The pension fund holds 1,8 billion EUR in asset under management. The strategic aim of the Fund’s investment activities is to accumulate the assets needed to cover its pension liability in a profitable, secure and responsible manner.
