Parishes are places of international encounter

Twin-parish activity is a unique part of our church's international and ecumenical relations. Importantly, it is parishioners themselves who take responsibility for this. Relationships have been built with the parishes of the Lutheran churches in Estonia, Russia (the Church of Ingria), and Hungary, especially. However, twin parishes can be found on every continent, and include Anglican and Orthodox parishes.

Our church encourages parishes to engage in international interaction, sharing, and learning. The Unit for Theology maintains a register of twin-parish relationships and offers training and material for twin-parish work.
